"I was fastest in practice, qualifying, the race...so what more can you want? My car was so much faster through the fast corners....but only because you told me how I can use the kerbs ....thanks alot!!"

Rene Rast
Porsche Supercup race winner

Anthony helped German driver Rene Rast to learn the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit for the Porsche Supercup British Grand Prix support race.

The German - who had never raced at Silverstone before - went on to take his first win from Pole Position in the ultra competitive series that supports Formula One races.

"Anthony has taken me from my first ever trackday to becoming British Radical Enduro SR3 Champion in my first season of racing, all in the space of less than two years. Before embarking on my first trackday I found Anthony on the internet, and what a find! He has taught me car dynamics and how to control oversteer and understeer as well as how to drive quickly on a circuit and the essentials of racecraft.

He's easy going and at the same time focused on achieving what everyone looks for in an instructor; getting the best out of me! I would recommend Anthony to anyone who wants to go faster, from trackday novice to experienced racer."

"I had a superb and very satisfying day at Bedford with you in my new Subaru Type 25. I felt that, by the end of the session, I had come on in leaps and bounds in terms of track technique and confidence, and I felt able to get so much more out of the car. I really appreciate your patience, knowledge and clear guidance, which inspired me so much. No doubt your help will lead me to much greater enjoyment of this superb sports car in the future. Many, many thanks, Anthony!!"

Brian Johnson AC/DC

Anthony coached celebrities AC/DC singer Brian Johnson and Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels film star Nick Moran at Silverstone...then took them around for a hot lap in a Lotus Exige. The event was part of Sky One's reality show The Race hosted by Denise Van Outon.

The pair went on to finish first & second in the afternoon's Mini 7 race!

"Thanks for an outstanding day at Silverstone last week. I have been on many track days but this was without question the best I have ever attended. You tailored the day to our individual skills (or lack of!) and made sure that we all had a fun day. I learnt more from your briefing than I have learnt from all the previous track days I have attended. The success of the day was the one to one tuition..."

"Just to thank you again for the most enjoyable and useful time on track I've had to date. I've been on a number of track days including the Palmersport Ultimate Driving Day at Bedford Autodrome and this surpassed them all. At first I was a bit concerned about the wet weather but with your tuition I found it added to the fun. It's the first time I've felt so relaxed, even during a high speed slide having been a bit over ambitious! Compared to anything else I've done before - far more track time, excellent tuition, a great car and I feel my driving is vastly improved (it even came in use on a wet greasy roundabout on the way home!) and all that at a very reasonable cost ...looking forward to the next time."

"I have to really thank you for a great day...I think I learnt a lot and it gave me a lot to think about for next year. One particular thing about your style that i really appreciated was that you promote driving as a feeling rather than a mechanical process. I think it can make one a much more capable driver. It is said the ultimate driver is the one who is at one with his machine, and I certainly felt encouraged to cultivate this.

Apart from this, it was simply great fun! Your easy going nature made me feel relaxed (even after two visits to the grass!) and I think that you are an easy person to learn from. Anyway, I have been spreading the word....."

“After a couple of sessions with Anthony my driving style really changed. From driving overcautiously (and slowly) and being overtaken by everyone, I began to really gain confidence and start hammering the car. Full power on the throttle, stamping on the brakes, NOT lifting off through the corners, all the things you need to do in order to actually become a quicker driver.

Most sports cars these days are really very competent machines but you need someone like Anthony that can convince you of that fact before you can start exploiting it. A decent car and some excellent tuition can go a long way.”

"I first used Anthony at the beginning of 2002 following advice from a friend who was a client of his. I was doing a fair few track days, but usually ended up having a moment or two each day! I found Anthony immediately improved my driving, not just in terms of consistency but also in terms of balance, confidence and overall pace. That year I went from the 'Novice' category to being able to run in the highest 'Experienced' group and I also passed my ARDS test.

He works in a friendly, relaxed style which is unusual with his quality of instruction and something I warmed to. I look forward to continue working with him."

"I took a days tuition with Anthony and for my next race at Snetterton I qualified on Pole, won the race and set a new lap record into the bargain - what more could you want!"

Tony Jones
Ferrari Challenge Competitor

"Having driven on track days for many years, early in 2002 I decided to up the ante and try my hand at racing. I quickly realised that to drive competetively it was important to get the most out of myself as well as the car, and I decided to embark upon a programme of driver development.

Anthony has a communicative, stress-free, customer focused approach that appealed to me immediately; he quickly established what my limits were and formulated a positive and effective strategy to extend those limits and broaden the comfort zone with which I had surrounded myself. My speed has definitely increased, but with an understanding and control that has provided me with a personal platform on which build further. There are many so called instructors available but few who share Anthony's genuine desire to show you where improvements can be made in such a coherent manner.

Speed is one thing common to all instructors, but Anthony posseses a rare ability to communicate where his speed comes from."

"Anthony has the ability to tranlate the physics of driving fast into plain English and gives his pupils space and time to recognise how the theory can be applied on the track. Jumping from Silverstone Racing School's Van Diemens into a Radical Pro-Sport was never going to be easy but thanks to Anthony I enjoyed it thoroughly and managed to build up confidence safely and in a relatively short space of time"
