Anthony & Barry Gates took another podium in the SPEED series at Silverstone International Circuit in RLR Msport's No. 99 Ligier JS49 prototype.

Barry gained more experience by once again qualifying, taking 9th place in a closely fought damp session. He made a good start to run 6th, although a first lap collision with Sarah Reader in the TFL Juno earned him a 10 second stop-go penalty, dropping him to 7th. Anthony took over the car after 1hr 40 mins and put in a good stint to chase Jean Lou Rihon's Norma for 3rd. He took the place with 30 mins remaining and fought off a late challenge from IF Motorsport's Ligier driven by the Woodcock brothers.
