Anthony began motor sport at 18 when he started Kart Racing. In just 3 years he had won a multitude of events including two National Championship rounds and 3 Regional titles winning 7 out of 8 races in his district in 1995.
In 1996 he graduated to single seater car racing. Following two years of Formula Vauxhall Junior,
1998 saw him turn fully professional and become a Performance Driving Instructor at Silverstone Circuit as well as moving up to compete in BARC Formula Renault. 4 wins and 6 podium positions capped his most successful year to date, finishing second in the championship against more experienced opposition despite missing one of the races.
Anthony had to take a sabbatical from racing in 1999 due to lack of funds, although he continued to develop his motor sport experience & knowledge as he joined Ferrari UK as an instructor and continued his work at Silverstone.
In 2000, he kept his competitive instincts sharp by kart racing and turned in some impressive results. His persistence paid off as he was called up in a last minute deal to race in the Nurburgring 24 hour race around the original 14 mile Grand Prix Circuit in a Caterham Superlight sports car alongside Caterham Sportscar aces Rob Garofall and Robin Liddell. Despite leading their class in the event, they eventually were forced to retire from the race with a blown engine.
He finished the year by once again competing in the Dubai 24 hour kart race against the worlds top karters and celebrity drivers including Damon Hill, Pedro Lamy and Jason Orange from pop band Take That!
2001 led to a drive in the 'Radical' sports car series, partnering James Pickford and Matthew van Gessel. The season was cut short due to budget contraints, but this didn't stop them from being from front runners.
2002 saw Anthony focus his efforts on developing further his performance driving tuition career and start his private tuition business 'IWannaGoFaster.com'.
2003 saw him back in the saddle partnering one of his Personal Tuition clients Andrew Stevens in a BMW M3 in the European Endurance Racing Championship Britcar. A stunning saloon car debut at Donington saw Anthony qualify the Group N specification car on class Pole Position and third overall - just behind a Ferrari 355 & Multiple British Touring Car Champion Andy Rouse's monster Mercedes 190 (an ex-DTM German Touring car)! The pair finished a creditable 2nd in class on their debut despite braking problems in the 100 minute race.
2006 saw Anthony return to racing in the Radical Enduro series. On his debut in the SR3 class at Croft, he qualified on the front row and in the race went on to set a new lap record! He returned to partner front runner James Richardson in the championship decider at Donington finishing 2nd in the first race and setting fastest lap in the second whilst revelling in treacherous conditions.
This lead to a full season in the British Radical SR3 Enduro Championship, partnering novice pupil Barry Gates in 2007. The aim was to "win a race" during the year...which they achieved in their first race at Snetterton from the back of the grid! They finished the season as Champions, taking 9 Pole Positions, 4 Wins, and 9 Podiums with Anthony taking 8 Fastest Laps and 4 Lap Records!
2008 saw Anthony & Barry racing in the V de V UK Endurance series in a Ligier JS49 sports prototype. It was a learning first year for both team & drivers as the pair were once again on the pace, leading races & qualifying at the front but had a series of unlucky results. However, the year finished well as they finished on the podium at Silverstone.

2009 started well in the series now renamed 'SPEED' as the pair took their first win at Belgum's famous Spa-Francorchamps circuit and also at the Snetterton 6 hour race. They went on to finish 2nd in the UK series & first in the Euro Series!
